Default A few suggestions

Hello everyone. I'm a bit new to these forums and I've been playing the game for about two weeks now. So far I have have been enjoying the game but I think there is a little room for improvement.

Capes
1. Instead of having just one cape, which needs an guild to have, and everyone has to wear it, give us some options. Three in particular. Let us wear the guild cape (if we are in a guild). Let us have personal capes, so that people who want capes aren't forced to create a guild, and if you are in a guild, you can select a personal one; to keep there from being any confusion, these personal capes should be per PC and not per account. Finally, let individual players turn them off if they don't want to wear capes.

2. Give guilds with a cape the option of turning them off. If we don't like them, we can be rid of them.

3. Some longer cape options would be nice.

Class suggestions
4. My first class suggestion is for something that can duel weild. I'm not sure what it'd be called, but the options for 2 daggers, a pair of clawed gauntlets (or hand claws), and maybe a staff or double bladed sword would be nice. I see it as a being like warriors (maybe another skill set for warriors or rangers) but with a little less armor, and a lot more attacks because they are fighting with 2 weapons instead of one.

5. Better hair for Monk females and Mesmer females. Some of them are acceptable, but I would want my PCs to look a little better than some of my options. Maybe face and hair options shouldn't be limited to class.

5 and one half. More dance options. Some of them just look horrible.

6. More armor options at least in terms of looks. Also when it comes to dyeing, maybe there should be an online guide to what you get when you mix dyes. I'm partial to blue but from what I've seen, with all the double combos, there aren't many blues. I'd also like to see a white or brighter sivler dye for armor. While I'm thinking of it, being able to dye your weapons, including the blade, and make it show up in the game would be nice.

7. For warriors I'd like to see one handed hammers (maces) and two handed swords and axes.

Crafting
8. As of now, if you want to make something you take it to the crafter. While this isn't a problem, some things, such as weapons and shields, don't give people a lot of options to craft and you are forced to hunt for loot. Part of me would prefer that mobs dropped more materials and that the crafters in town would give you more weapons and armors. Being able to craft components would be nice as well.

9. Perhaps intead of crafting items based on location alone, they could be based on your PC's level instead. Also maybe there could be a skill for crafting. You could either learn weapons for your primary and secondary class, or you could learn to make the armor instead. This would encourage more character interdependance.

Drops
10. I think I'd prefer fewer item drops and more material drops. Since I'm more in favor of PC crafted items, this would encourage people to harvest materials and then make items. Some of the better items, like blues, purples, and golds would need a number of rare materials.

11. When NPCs are around, I've noticed that the number of drops tend to be fewer. I don't mind that a whole lot, but perhaps it could be altered. I mean I didn't really start getting char hides until I was of a high enough level to go to the breach with only the healer NPC instead of a full group.

Parties and Guilds
12. In FFXI, there was an option for if you were looking for a party, a little icon would come up with your name. That'd be nice to have in GW so if you are trying to form a party, you know who to look for. It also be nice if there was a similar icon for people wanting to join guilds.

13. Random grouping. There was also a random grouping feature in FFXI so maybe in GW, you could select an option that would automatically group you with people like in the arenas. Note that everyone would have to have at least one common quest (or just wants to group and turns on the suggestion above).

14. Personal bio. How about letting everyone make a short bio that other people can look at, it might make finding someone for your group or guild easier. Let's say you are a smiting and protection monk. Well then maybe people will stop pestering you to group with them thinking you are a healer. Also if you were a E/Mo that likes to heal, you could find a group looking for healers quicker.

Skills
15. Instead of trainers and quests alone for getting skills, maybe on level up, each PC would be allowed to select one skill he'd like to have. Earlier skills would show up first, and better ones would come later. I'd also like a little more variety from the trainers, espically what you learn early on. For example, I'd if like to make a W/earth El, I'd have to wait until post searing until I start finding earth magics. If I'd like stone dagger or ice spear instead of flare, I'm going to have to wait awhile for my PC to find them.
